Why use Google Shopping ads when PMax includes shopping?
The reason you would use a standard Google Shopping campaign over Performance Max is if you need more control over your shopping campaigns. Whilst PMax is great and all encompassing, a Google Shopping ad campaign allows you to have more control over negative keywords, where your ads appear and allows you to use a manual bidding strategy.
How long does it take for Google Shopping ads to work?
Your ads will generally start running and gathering impressions within two days of setting your Google Shopping campaigns up, however, this is dependent on a couple of factors including: - Ensuring your Google Merchant Centre feed has no errors and all products are approved - Ensuring that your budget, targeting and bid strategy are sufficient and competitive enough to reach your audience Once your ads are live, they go through a learning phase which can last a couple of weeks, where performance can be unpredictable as Google learns how to bid for clicks and conversions. Within a few weeks, you should start to see profitable sales from your Google Shopping ads - it’s all about patience!
Why pay for Google Shopping Ads?
