Ensuring revenue was being tracked accurately was our first port of call. The website is built using Shopify, a platform that we work with frequently, so this was a relatively quick fix for us.
We then set about creating a new campaign and by making use of the limited data available to us, it was clear that the Google Shopping network would be where we focused our efforts, pausing any high spending, low converting Search campaigns.
Making use of the Asset Group functionality of the Performance Max campaign type, we were able to tailor image and text assets to specific brands and collections of products with the aim of improving the ROAS and increasing total revenue generated.
