Our team delivered sustained growth for the client through a series of new campaigns, broadening their location targeting to high-net-worth areas, overseas. This campaign was subsequently shortlisted at the UK Search Awards in the travel and tourism category

Prior to getting started with the account rebuild, phone calls from ad extensions were the only conversions that were being tracked within the account. The goal of the new campaigns was to establish a greater level of visibility over the current ad spend and to increase the number of enquiries and bookings from both domestic and international clients with the aim to ultimately build long-term client relationships, generating repeat bookings.

Implementation

Initially, the account included four core campaigns each with specific targeting objectives:

  • Brand
  • Chauffeuring General | UK Targeting
  • Chauffeuring General | London Targeting
  • Airports | International Targeting

The two General Chauffeuring campaigns were initially launched as identical campaigns with the only differences being their location targeting and their preemptive negative keyword lists but we would later go on to expand upon these and segment ad groups into their own individual campaigns. These campaigns featured multiple ad groups, focusing on the services and vehicles that the client provides. The London Targeting campaign was implemented to focus on individuals living or working in London that required chauffeuring services while the UK Targeting campaign focused on individuals outside of London that required chauffeuring services in London.

The Airports International Targeting campaign was implemented to reach individuals outside of the UK, with a key focus on the US, Europe and the Middle East. This campaign contained ad groups relating to the individual airports that the client operates to and from.

The results speak for themselves as our website has improved dramatically and we are continuing to develop new strategies day by day.

Results

Without any prior tracking in place, aside from phone calls from ad extensions, our primary goal for the account was to generate new enquiries via phone calls and form submissions. The website has the functionality to allow clients to book their chauffeur directly through the website, allowing us to track confirmed bookings, as well as the revenue generated.

Our conversion numbers are based on phone calls, enquiries, quick booking forms and final booking form completions. While final bookings and revenue were certainly nice to achieve, initially, this was not the main goal of the account but it now forms the basis of our decision-making.
